Brush Hogging
What is Brush Hogging?
Brush hogging, also known as bush hogging or rotary cutting, is a method of land clearing that involves the use of a large, heavy-duty rotary mower attachment. This attachment is typically mounted on the back of a tractor or similar heavy machinery and would be used for grass vegetation or small woody vegetation. We can offer two levels of clearing depending on the type and density of vegetation you need cleared. Call for a free consultation.Â
Brush hogging is commonly used for:
Pasture maintenance: Keeping pastureland clear of overgrown vegetation allows for better forage growth for livestock and reduces the risk of fire.
Right-of-way maintenance: Clearing vegetation along roadsides, power lines, pipelines, and other utility corridors to maintain visibility and access.
Land clearing: Preparing land for development, agriculture, or other purposes by clearing brush, small trees, and undergrowth.
Firebreak creation: Creating firebreaks to help prevent the spread of wildfires by clearing vegetation in strategic locations.
